About The Role

Are you someone who loves working with young people and making a difference in their learning journey?

We are excited to announce an opening for a Senior Science Technician to join us at our expanding academy as we welcome our next cohort of students in September.  The successful candidate will be an experienced science technician who can manage their own and their colleagues’ workflows, together with providing high quality support to students and science teachers.

Our Senior Science Technician will provide practical support for students in science lessons by carry out demonstrations, preparing resources and assembling apparatus as required. They will also ensure the science area meets health and safety requirements and will lead on stock control and ordering as appropriate.

The Senior Science Technician will line manage the Science Technician team, and will be responsible for the technical disciplines of experimental and practical work.
