About The Role

Are you looking for a new opportunity to teach History / RE in a supportive environment?

Goodwin Academy are seeking a History / RE Teacher to join their vibrant state of the art mixed Academy based in the heart of Deal.  The successful candidate will be a qualified teacher who is passionate about teaching and learning, has a positive outlook and excellent interpersonal skills.  You will be an Outstanding classroom practitioner with high expectations for achievements and behaviour, to ensure that our children achieve their very best.  Our Curriculum Intent can be viewed here

  • Plan, implement, and deliver an appropriately broad, balanced, relevant, and differentiated curriculum for KS3 & KS4 students
  • Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students
  • Facilitate and encourage a learning experience that provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential
  • Contribute to raising standards of student progress and attainment 
  • Integrate the Thinking Schools ethos into all aspects of school life to develop students as thinkers, enabling them to achieve success and be their best selves
