About The Role

Are you looking to progress your career in administration?

Due to retirement, we are seeking a Senior Admin Officer to support with key responsibilities in our busy school office including timetabling, student record keeping and admissions.  The successful candidate will be an experienced administrator who will take a logical approach to tasks, with the ability to prioritise and deliver a high level of admin support to school staff.

Our Senior Admin Officer will provide clerical, departmental and administrative functions for the academy under the direction of senior staff.   This is a varied role encompassing administrative and organisational services to our Sixth Form Team, Attendance, SEN and Pastoral Departments.  The successful candidate will assist with timetabling administration, co-ordinate school admissions and support with first aid duties (with suitable training).

As Senior Admin Officer you will also:

  • Maintain the school database
  • Compile information for the school census in Autumn, Spring and Summer
  • Provide administrative support for school events
  • Arrange academy events throughout the year
  • Coordinate student careers appointments

Knowledge of school based software is an advantage.

This role is term time plus inset days and additional days to be worked at the start of the summer holidays and following GCSE results days.
